Before embarking on a custom software development effort, SCR's experienced staff will work with you to carefully define the requirements of the software functionality you need.
Once the requirements are agreed upon, our staff will perform an exhaustive search of available off-the-shelf offerings to ensure that a commercial product vendor has not already addressed your needs.
If a suitable commercial product is unavailable, SCR’s Application Development staff will guide you through the next phases of design and implementation.
Here agreement is established on user interfaces, processing requirements, unique calculation requirements posed by your application, output product specifications and the target hardware and operating system(s) for your new application.
With this information, SCR’s Application Development staff will proceed to develop a budgetary estimate of the costs to implement, document, package, and support the custom application.
With your agreement to proceed, SCR’s staff will complete a phased implementation of the new application with your involvement and approval of each major component. In parallel, SCR’s technical writing staff will prepare users, training, and support aids for the product as you requested.
We will also be fully prepared to provide you with the technical support and training for your new application software product for as long as you require.
